Adelaide, the city of churches, is something else, with its old heritage buildings, historic culture and grand living at its very best. It is here that you can really spoil yourself with all of the luxuries of life and not break the bank.

You can take the kids to the Adelaide Zoo or do a romantic walk through the botanical gardens with your loved one, followed by a tempting array of treats at one of the many cafes and bars that a dotted throughout the city’s outskirts and CBD. The main city hub has everything from fantastic markets all week long, boutiques and designer outlets and plenty of places to enjoy taste tempting delights that will make your mouth water.
You might be interested to visit Victor Harbour or Glenelg being two beautiful coastal towns a decent drive from Adelaide city centre, where you can find beautiful beaches and water sports galore. You can swim with the sharks, see sea lions in the wild and embark on a number of great fishing charters that are sure to keep you smiling.
Adelaide holds many annual events throughout the year so why don’t you check out what might be on while you are visiting. There is the Tour Down Under Cycling in January, the Adelaide Fringe Festival from February through to March as well as the Adelaide Festival held every bi-annual year in March. Or perhaps you might be interested in witnessing the Clipsal 500 V8 Touring Cars in the months of March and April or have a punt at the Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival. The month of May sees the Autumn Leaves Festival in Aldgate and in September you can see the Bay to Birdwood Historic Car Run. The International Rose Festival is held in October as is the Tasting Australia Food Festival and for anyone that is a lover of horses then you simply cannot pass up the opportunity to experience the International Horse Trials in November.
