Hamilton Island has a number of different syles of accommodation. The Reef View hotel is the largest and provides the most accommodation on the island. Most rooms have great views over the Whitsundays region and all have large balconies. The Whitsunday Holiday apartments are among the most popular for family accommodation. These apartments are not managed by Hamilton Island resort and have their own managment structure. Both of these two buildings are located resort side on Catseye beach. At the luxury end of the market, apart from a number of beautiful holiday homes and apartments, there are three stand out places to stay. The Beach Club resort is right on catseye beach and is a great palce for couples and honeymooners.
The two most recent aditions to the luxury end of the accommodation market on Hamilton Island are Qualia Resort and the Hamilton Island Yacht Club Villas. These two developments are the current pacesetters for luxury accommodation in the Whitsunday islands. Qualia caters for couples in absolute luxury, while the Yacht Club Villas cater for families and groups. Both are superbly designed and finished with the ultimate in luxury accoutrements.
